-Payment policies
Parents are responsible to make timely payments for either a session or monthly tuition on or before the first of the month. Credit Cards are required for registration and will be held. Payments can be made in a different form before the 1st of each month that a session begins and is charged. If enrolled in six week sessions, charges may not be filed each month and it is parent's responsibility to follow the calendar. If your child is on a team these charges will apply monthly regardless of holidays, unless you have used your credit sessions. On the 1st of each month, the remaining balance will be processed on the credit card on file unless arrangements had been made prior. You must send notice of any drops from classes in writing, otherwise you will be responsible for the balance, as the spot is still being held for your child. Failure to make payments may result in a child's removal from the class and that unpaid past balances must be paid in full before a return to any classes. Ongoing non-payment may result in permanent removal from classes.
-Class rules
- No gum or candy while practicing as this could be a choking hazard.
- No shoes on the mats unless cheer shoes for the tumbling class only.
- Stay on the apparatus that the instructor is currently working on and the stations that are assigned at that time.
- If there are sign or symptoms of a concussion or if the instructor feels there is reason to suspect a concussion could have occurred, a doctor's note will be required prior to the gymnast's return. Further information about how concussions occur and the symptoms to watch for are outlined on the heads up handouts and on the website at the CDC.
- If there are any health or physical restrictions due to an injury, we must receive a note from a doctor regarding these restrictions as well as a note to return to normal activities.
- If you have other children waiting while another class is taking place, they need to stay in the waiting areas and off the apparatus. If a child's class has not started they also need to stay in the waiting area until their class is called.
- Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate attire such as a leotard, two piece leotard or tight fitting clothing with sports bra or otherwise underneath. No jeans, pajama pants, oversized sweaters, skirts or dresses are allowed.
- If your child wears something that they cannot practice in, they will be given a leotard to change in to at parent's expense.
- Hair that is longer than shoulder length needs to be secured away from the face. No dangling jewelry allowed during practice.
- We will not tolerate bullying. If there are issues with your child bullying others in a class, they can possibly be removed from class or suspended for a period of time. Team members will be required to sign an anti-bullying pledge.
-Additional reminders
All our coaches have experience either coaching or competing in competitive gymnastics. Please allow them to coach and guide the classes. We enjoy having parents involved and excited for their kids, but it is distracting and confusing if there are multiple instructions being called from the waiting area and from the coaches. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to talk with coaches during breaks or after class.
